Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ImgScale ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and image upscaling tool. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.
Your images
Most ImgScale tools — the compressor, converter, resize, crop, rotate, background remover, EXIF remover, watermark, meme generator, face blur, photo editor, Studio, and all PixelLab tools — process images entirely in your browser. For these tools your files are never uploaded; some of them download an AI model file that then runs on your device. The AI upscaler is the one exception: to deliver consistent high-quality results on any device, your image is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our GPU processing servers, used solely to generate your upscaled result, and automatically deleted immediately after processing. We never store your images, share them with anyone, or use them to train AI models. Please only process images you are authorized to use.
Information we collect
We may collect non-personal technical information such as browser type, device type, and aggregated usage statistics to operate and improve the site. We do not require account registration to use the upscaler.
Cookies
We and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality.
Third-party advertising
We may display ads served by third-party vendors, including Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads on our site; where required, ads are served in line with applicable industry guidelines, and you may manage choices via aboutads.info or Your Online Choices.
Third-party services
Our site relies on third-party infrastructure for hosting and image processing. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
